WANTED: rollerskates

Do you have some good easter days, full with lots of chocolate eggs? Yes I know, me too. In a little while, I will be at my grandparents for part two. The first day my sister organized an easter brunch. Everything was so delicious ever and the table was so beautiful. You can check my Instagram if you want to see a picture of that.

Yesterday on the couch I felt like pinning a bit and a girl in roller skates got my attention. I looked for some more inspirational pictures. It is the perfect combination of playful and stylish! But I have to admit, I am so clumsy I probably will fall or skate over people. You know what I mean? But that doesn't matter, rollerskates are on my list now. What do you think, should I ask them for my birthday next month?

Stella, you make my dreams come true!

Dear Stella,

Just wanted to write you a short thank you note.

I saw parts of your collection for autumn 2016 on Instagram. Such a marvelous  job you did there darling! Playful eighties vibes, I felt in love with it instantly. Today I saw the pictures on your website and they made me even love it more. So thoughtful to make a lot of different prints of different kittens!

Something else I want to thank you for is the example you are making for the fashion industry for being one of the few designers who think sustainability in your work is important. If more designers would do that, the world would be a better place.

Coffee in the morning

My morning isn't complete without a cup of coffee or three. I love it the most when I don't have to hurry so much. Although those days are very rare at the moment. However this morning I was lucky. I jumped out of bed, walked to the kitchen and pushed on the power-button. Voila a little cup of Espresso for Willemijn Sofie. I took it with me to my granddaddy chair in the living-room and took a little nip of it while I though back of my dreams last night. 

My first coffee moment of the day was almost the same as the fourth photograph. But instead of reading a newspaper I was checking Instagram on my phone, and what was your first coffee moment of the day like? Does it look like any of the pictures underneath?

I think the most female readers can agree with me that you can never have enough shoes. Today I like to show you a few pair of mine. You recognise my style immidiatly, because the biggest part is vintage or vintage looking. Except from my All Stars and high heels. But the last one you will see in an future post, I promise.

H&M meets American Apparel

Their are times I love my job more or less. But I love it the most wenn a new season starts. Because all employees of the H&M get a 50% shoppingcard! And one of the things I bought of it is the orange top I am wearing in this pictures. This piece looks so vintage and has a beautiful colour, therefore it was love at first side.

The green skirt is from the American Apparel from a few years ago, it is kind of hard to wear. To find the right clothing combination with it. But I'm always happy when it works out. Also the store is one of my alltime favourites, simply because everything I ever bought I still wear. Even wenn it is a few years ago :). Everything stays pretty and kind of special.

O and I almost forgot to tell something about the necklace. This amazing eagle is from Jutka&Riska, a beautiful vintage store with great and not expensive juwelry. But I never go there to buy clothes, they made it to expensive :(.

But back to the complete look, is it a yay or nay for you?

Vintage Dog Show

No not a reall one, The Dog Show is a vintage clothingstore of two woman in Los Angeles. Not really nearby for me, but a saw a shoot on VICE with fashion from them and I really want to share some pictures with you. The first one is of the shop and the others are made by a photographer named Paley Fairman

So do you understand why I needed to show this store? If I had my own, it would be something like this. O MY GOSH, to bad it is so fair away.. Those pictures are really incredible as well, don't you think?
